If you have been invited to participate in an application and received the invitation via a different email to your primary registered account email, you should not create an account by completing the information below – simply log in to the system using your primary account email address via the ‘Log in if you already have an account’ link above and locate the relevant task via your home screen portal.

Only individuals should register for accounts on the Awards Management System; please do not create generic accounts for teams or groups of people.

The requirement for an ORCiD is mandatory for all applicants except PPI/CEI co-applicants. However, if a PPI/CEI co-applicant has an ORCiD account and wishes to add this to their contact profile they can.

For Applicants, committee members and reviewers

Please type your organisation’s name into the ‘Organisation Name’ field, then select the correct organisation from the resulting list.

If you are registering as a Public (PPI) contributor (NIHR domestic programmes) or CEI representative (Global Health Research Programmes) and can’t find or don’t have an appropriate registered organisation, please start typing and select from the following 2 options:

• ‘Public and Patient Involvement and Engagement (PPIE)'
• ‘CEI Global Health’
